Earl B. Heard is the founder and CEO of the Business and
Industry Communications (BIC) Alliance, a multi-industry strategic marketing
firm; IVS Investment Banking, a merger and acquisition and investment banking
firm; BIC Recruiting, an executive recruiting firm; and BIC Media Solutions, a
custom publishing, event planning and media investment company. He is the
publisher of BIC Magazine — the Western Hemisphere’s
largest multi-industry, multi-departmental energy publication — and a
motivational speaker. His Alligator Management & Marketing seminars and
keynote presentations are delivered on a regular basis to energy and industry
entrepreneurs, management and sales professionals in business, industry and
media groups across America.
In 2005, Heard launched BIC Media Solutions (BMS). Since its
inception, BMS has published seven books. Books by Earl B. Heard are It’s What
We Do Together That Counts, Energy Entrepreneurs, Industry Achievers, Earl’s
Pearls, Michael Learns to Listen and Louisiana Sports Legends and
Heroes—Leaving A Legacy. In 2013, the company expanded into media investments
with a stake in Scene magazine. In 2014, BMS expanded its media investments
into co-producing and marketing inspirational, family-friendly, faith-based
films. The first foray into this endeavor was A Gift Horse, starring John
Schneider.
Now semi-retired, Heard is still doing energy and media
consultation. His latest project entitled Rock Bottom and Back includes a book
and a TV pilot. In addition to Rock Bottom, Heard is also involved in the
funding and co-production of Project Pearl, and raising capital for Unshaken
and Capture the Flag.
