BJ Arnett

 Former NBC news anchor and entertainment/lifestyle reporter, BJ Arnett is no stranger to the film and entertainment industry. As host for GPTV, 11Alive News, and TV69 (now CW) BJ is also familiar with the world of investigative reporting. With her ever-present warm and personal style, BJ has hosted NBC’s “Peachtree Morning” “Soul of Atlanta” and “Beat of the City.”


Film credits includeGrantham & Rose and “The Mark Pease Experience," but one of her favorite roles was playing DeAundria Keanna Kelly, alongside her husband Cameron, in the five-time Dove Award winning “Stand Your Ground.” She was also head of Costuming, designing the leading lady’s notorious red suit. BJ and Camy are also executive producers for the upcoming feature film, “Mattie: The Discovery.”  


She has served as public relations director, VP of membership and now sits on the board of directors for WIFTA, Women In Film and Television Atlanta. Mrs. Arnett is a professor in the fashion design and merchandising program at Clark Atlanta University. BJ is currently the host of BJA Todayan American newsmagazine television program offering hard-hitting interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the public sector, marketplace and entertainment industry.

BJ Arnett will lead two workshops at Content17: "Costuming...Following the Story Created" and "Talk Show...The Available Listener." The workshops will be held, Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
