Beyond the Mask
is a new family-adventure film that brings history to life in a
faith-filled adventure celebrating grace, liberty, and the true freedom
that can only be found in Christ. Cousins Chad and Aaron Burns, with the creative help of people like Stephen Kendrick (Fireproof and Courageous) and Paul McCusker (Adventures in Odyssey), homeschooled cousins Chad and Aaron Burns have made a swashbuckling family film starring Andrew Cheney (Seasons of Gray), Kara Killmer (Chicago Fire), and John Rhys-Davies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Lord of the Rings trilogy).
The film opens in April in theaters across the country, but it's a little different than you might be expecting. Releasing through Gathr, Beyond the Mask has the opportunity to Premiere with one time showings in more than 700 theaters. But like a crowd-sourcing site, unless a threshold is met, not all shows will be held. A deadline of March 27 looms for most of these 700 theaters. A minimum of 65 tickets is the key “tipping” point to confirm a Premiere.
